The Capital's New Home

There is a lot of noise coming out of the state capital this month and rightfully so; Seacoast Express United finally has a home of their own. For the first time ever, Express will be setting up shop in a state of the art, newly renovated facility located in downtown Concord. This multi-purpose turfed field will play host to soccer, baseball, softball and field hockey and will help provide opportunities for athletes in the surrounding communities.

Seacoast United Express has designated this upcoming Veteran’s Day (Wednesday, November 11th) as the official Grand Opening. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony that morning attended by the Hardy Family and dignitaries from the U.S. Navy S.E.A.L.S. The rest of the day will be opened up to the public as they will have various drop in sessions for all of our programs. The entire day is free however the Club does ask that you kindly make a donation on the day. Seacoast United will be donating all of the proceeds to Veterans Count – Easter Seals division that day. Young athletes will be able to play a number of sports on the day and will help raise money for this great cause.

“Veterans Count is very excited to partner with this great organization on the grand opening of their newest facilities," commented Veterans Count Director Joe Emmons on teaming up with Seacoast United.   "We are so grateful to everybody at Seacoast United for setting up as leaders in our community in support of veterans, service members and their families!"

About Veterans Count
Our Mission is to provide critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being. Through a unique Care Coordination model, and with funds raised through Veterans Count, Easter Seals Military and Veterans Services provides a “hand up” and not just a “hand out.” Our Care Coordinators are able to meet clients where they live and work to address their most pressing needs. The generous donations received through Veterans Count make it possible for veterans of all eras to turn to us for help with, among other things, Emergency Financial Assistance (housing, food, fuel assistance, gas, vehicle repair), Substance Abuse Services, Employment Counseling, and Mental Health Support.
