Seacoast Express United Alumni

Seacoast Express United takes immense pride in providing young players of the area an environment that helps them grow and develop as athletes and as people.  The Club continues to grow, offering a variety of programs from the Grassroots level all the way through high school as its athletes progress to college.

Seacoast Express United wishes to reconnect the Club’s alumni who have moved on and found success, on and off the field, since their days with the Club. Fall 2014 Alumni Update

Sarah Carlson - Castleton State College
Sarah, a standout with the Seacoast Express United U18s last year, is now a freshman at Castleton and has started her college career off with a bang! In her first 6 games she's started all 6 and scored 4 goals with one game winner. She's has helped the Spartans get off to a 3-3 record. Sarah was recently named North Atlantic Conference "Rookie of the Week".

Colleen Corliss- UMass Lowell
Colleen Corliss anchors the Umass Lowell back line starting every game in her first two years for the River Hawks and that trend continues into this season. As a junior the former Seacoast Express United stand out is one of the team captains and a player who rarely comes off the field. She was honored earlier this year as she was named to the Colgate Nike Classic All Tournament Team. She's also helped get her team off to their best start in Division 1 at 4-6. On Sunday (9/28/14) she played 90 mins in their first conference win as they defeated last years conference champion Stony Brook Univ. 3-1 in Lowell.

Colleen Corliss- UMass Lowell

In an announcement, this afternoon, America East announced that freshman Shannon Groffie (Toms River, N.J.) has been named to the America East All-Rookie Team and junior Colleen Corliss (Pittsfield, N.H.) has claimed a spot on the All-Academic Team.
Corliss, a business administration major, carries a 3.90 cumulative Grade Point Average and is a second time honoree.  She earned a spot on the All-Academic Team a year ago.  Corliss has been a Dean's List regular, earning a spot on the list every semester since the fall of 2012.  She has been involved with Team IMPACT and various other charities.
"Colleen is clearly one of our leaders," said Bancroft. "She's a great kid, a hard working kids who takes a cerebral approach."
An outstanding defender, Corliss has logged more playing time than anyone else on the roster.
"She's one of the best all around players, she has all the tools," said Bancroft. "She assesses the situation and she adjusts very well."

Sarah Carlson - Castleton State College

Castleton freshman and former Seacoast Express player Sarah Carlson has been named to the NAC All-Conference First Team. Carlson recorded three goals and two assists in conference play and has nine goals and two assists on the year. Congrats Sarah!!
